Prashant More is an interdisciplinary dance artist based in Goa, India. Working across choreography, teaching, dance filmmaking, and site-responsive work.

 

His work explores evolving forms of storytelling through intimate and immersive performances rooted in lived experience. His practice combines experimentation, poetry, ambiguity, and humour. His work has been presented at festivals and platforms across India, Hong Kong, the United Kingdom, South Africa, and Georgia.

He graduated from Attakkalari Centre for Movement Arts, Bangalore, and later studied choreography and experimental performance in Amsterdam and Berlin.

As an educator, his teaching is based on the belief that “Creation begins with play.” He creates open yet rigorous spaces where artists and movers explore curiosity, risk-taking, attentiveness, and embodied intelligence.

 

Through dance films, he explores social constructions of normalcy and the psychological nuances of human behaviour. Revealing inner worlds often left unspoken.
