Prashant More is an interdisciplinary artist from India, working across body, space, and camera. His practice includes performance, choreography, teaching, and dance filmmaking.
His work explores evolving forms of storytelling through intimate and immersive performances rooted in lived experience. His practice often combines experimentation, poetry, ambiguity, and humour. His works have been showcased at festivals and platforms in India, Hong Kong, the United Kingdom, and South Africa.
He studied in India and Europe. Graduated from the Attakkalari, Bangalore, he further expanded his choreographic and experimental performance training in Amsterdam, Berlin, and Hong Kong.
As an educator, his teaching is based on the belief that “Creation begins with play.” He creates open yet rigorous spaces where artists and movers explore curiosity, risk-taking, attentiveness, and embodied intelligence.
Through dance films, he examines social constructions of normalcy and the psychological nuances of human behaviour. Revealing inner worlds often left unspoken.
